5 Things To Do Over The Christmas Break!

1. Bristol’s German Christmas Market
Running until the 29th December at the Broadmead shopping quarter, the 35 traditional chalets decorated with festive greenery and colourful lights, the Christmas nativity Pyramid, giant advent calendar, children’s carousel and beer gardens combine to create a festive atmosphere in the heart of the city centre shopping area. Father Christmas will also be visiting every day at 4pm to open an advent calendar window and giving away presents
 
2. Winter Wonder Zoo
 
Between 19th -21st December, a perfect evening out where all the family can enjoy all the traditions of christmas in Bristol Zoo. There will be carol singing, a Christmas market with traditional gifts and festive treats, santa’s grotto, Jingle and Belle the reindeers, storytelling and Christmas craft activities. A few of the animal houses will also be open on the night and all money raised will be spent supporting Bristol Zoo’s charitable objectives.
 
3. Aladdin at the Hippodrome
 
Running from the 20th Dec to 6thJan, make tickets to Aladdin one of your three wishes this Christmas! Take a magical carpet ride to the Far East in this year’s spectacular family pantomime Aladdin. Guaranteed to delight the whole family with the stunning sets, glittering costumes, wonderful songs and dazzling dancing.

Running until the 19th Jan, Peter pan explores the pain and possibilities of growing up, set to live music and a riot of colour, magic and merry mischief to fill the hearts of everyone this Christmas.
 
 
5. Winter Wonderland at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway
 
Featuring the largest outdoor ice rink in the South West, an enchanted ice castle where children can watch a musical light display and meet Father Christmas and share their Christmas wishes and a Christmas train ride.
