With fingers crossed that this rain will have stopped for the weekend, why not join in some festival fun with the National Trust’s Top of the Gorge festival above the beautiful Cheddar Gorge from 14th-16th June…?
For anyone who has not ventured to Cheddar for a walk yet, it is an absolute must. The gorge is stunning and what a location right at the top for the National Trust to hold this little gem of an event for the second year running! With activities including trail running, mountain biking, climbing, caving, walking, archery, guided foraging walks, campfire cooking, yoga, star gazing and much, much more this one is well worth a visit – and that’s without even touching on all of the fantastic local food and drink which will be on offer in the pop-up festival village too! Live bands will be playing across the weekend, there will be speakers and entertainment galore…the list really does go on and on…Piper’s Farm banquet on Saturday night anyone?!
There are a multitude of ticket options available from day passes to camping and glamping on site with things kicking off from 4pm on Friday afternoon. Click here for the weekend’s full programme and make sure your diary is clear for the weekend!!
