Being a farmer’s daughter, the word, ‘vegetarian’ was a bit blasphemous in our household, so I can’t really say that Vegfest is entirely my cup of tea. However, I can also say that the ‘food competition’ which is one of the highlights of Grillstock is not something that I will be entering; however, I am aware that there are many who think that I should!
Grillstock is this weekend, 11th and 12th July and is a must for most men to be honest, as men do seem to dominate any BBQ! It promises meat, mayhem and madness…you can also find this festival down in the Amphitheatre. This one is slightly pricier starting at £25.00 for the Sunday.
