Research has shown that the secret to a happy marriage lies in a cheap and cheerful night in… watching a rom-com. The study, involving 174 couples found that those which discussed five films about relationships over a month cut the three-year divorce rate for newlyweds in half.
So there’s no need to dash off to the jewelers or the florists at lunch… just grab yourselves a bag of popcorn!
