Here at SK we were mortified to hear the Bristol was ranked one of the unhappiest cities to live in, in the UK.
Why is this Bristol? Come on, you need to cheer up!
I mean, Sheffield was top of the list, the only good things about the city that I can think of are stainless steel and the film, The Full Monty, and that was back in the 90’s
So I did a quick poll in the office and here’s our favourite things about Bristol and why we love it…..
- Everything is so easy to get to and most importantly NO TUBE!
- Diverse nightlife
- Wonderful mix of architecture
- Rich history and loads of museums and ways to find out more about the cities background.
- Loads of foodie treats, ranging from restaurants to full on foodie festivals.
- The live music scene.
- The easy access to green, open spaces such as the Downs and further afield to the south coast, such as Devon and Cornwall when you want to escape the City.
Anyway, if all else fails, I have decided that it must be your home that is getting you down, so in that case, it is definitely time to move.
