It’s a funny time of year for us here in Bristol…

So as we come into winter, get ready for lots of laughs as Bristol’s comedy circuit is hotting up again with events galore lined up through November.

First of the big names to be gracing our stages is Seann Walsh who will be returning the Tobacco Factory Theatre on the 11th with a brand new show. Dubbed the Lie-In King, Seann is a Fosters Comedy Award nominee and as one of the best comics in the country he is guaranteed to have audiences in stitches.

Next up is Shappi Khorsandi with her “Oh My Country!” show also at the Tobacco Factory on the very next day, this coming Saturday 12th November. Shappi is celebrating the fortieth anniversary of her arrival in the UK and here is sending a love letter to her adopted land with a razor sharp wit and deliciously mischievous delivery. Giggles guaranteed with this star of Live at the Apollo with great reviews from the Guardian and Evening Standard alike.

Colston Hall will be taking a trip with Ross Noble through his “fertile imaginative landscape” on 25th of the month as he shares all of the hilarious things he has been storing up in his head. One can only imagine what this might mean but one thing we know is that an evening of great entertainment is a dead cert.

There are of course plenty of other comics who will be present in our fabulous city including acts such as Jonathan Pie, Sofie Hagen and Jeremy Hardy so make sure your tickets are booked and get ready for a month full of smiles!
