So, two blogs this week folks as I’m off to Roma next week so thought I’d just let you know about where to find firework displays across the city for next weekend’s Bonfire Night…
This year will mark 411 years since Guy Fawkes’ infamous Gunpowder Plot and as always, Bristol will be holding celebratory firework displays across the city. Events include the following:
Downend Round Table Fireworks – Friday 4th November from 5.30pm
Henleaze Infant School Fireworks Night – Friday 4th November (time TBC)
Fireworks to Music at Avon Valley Country Park – Saturday 5th November at 7pm (gates open at 5.30pm)
Canford Park Fireworks Fiesta – Saturday 5th November at 7pm (gates open at 6pm)
Puxton Park – Bonfire Night Extravaganza – Saturday 5th November at 7pm (doors open from 5pm)
Victoria Park Bonfire Night – Saturday 5th November
Thornbury Round Table – Saturday 5th November at 5.30pm
Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club Bonfire Night – Saturday 5th November at 6pm
Bishop Road Fireworks Extravaganza – Saturday 5th November from 6pm-9pm
Bradley Stoke Town Council Fireworks Display – Sunday 6th November
Prices vary for each venue but displays promise to be well worth a watch wherever you are. Sparklers, rockets, Catherine wheels…Bonfire Night is a wonderful time of year to be spent with family and friends.
