As the summer slowly creeps to an end, there are still plenty of fun things to do here in Bristol. This week is all about the West Country and the fantastic beverages that we have to offer…
This coming Saturday will see the return of Bristol Beer Week for the fourth year in a row and it will run for a week until Friday 2nd September.
The popular beer festival came about due to the rise in the UK independent beer scene over the past few years. Having always been a city which is proud to be “local” yet also excited to welcome new people and cultures, Bristol have of course fully embraced the new wave of UK beer and is proud to showcase some of the country’s most wonderful small breweries and independent producers.
Bristol Beer Week is a brilliant local event which is run entirely by volunteers and the festival will feature events throughout the city at a number of different venues. Follow the East Bristol brewery trail on opening weekend, party all day at Brewdog and of course do not miss out on the numerous tasting events which will be taking place almost daily through the week.
Beer lovers be ready – you’ll be spoilt for choice!
