Bristol is busy gearing up for the annual food festival, in association with the BBC. The festival is not just a load of foodies selling their wares, but its designed to get everyone involved and think about where food comes from and to bring people together.
I for one, am ridiculously excited about going to the Festival of Spice on St Marks Road in Easton. An area which in my opinion doesn’t receive the recognition that it deserves.
The OH can’t wait for the talk by inspirational food writer Simon Hopkinson.
With so many exciting talks, workshops, stalls, foraging events and street markets, there is definately something for everyone.
Another one of the highlights is the Eat, Drink, Bristol Fashion tippee in Queen Square. The brain child of Bristol food hero Josh Eggleton. You can try out loads of new things.
Just pray that the weather is nice!
