Here at SK we love our office location in Clifton. With so many places to go for a treat we are completely spoilt for choice but there are some eateries in the village which we think are a little bit special…
Anna Cake Couture. Less than a minute’s walk from us on Boyce’s Avenue, Anna is one of the most lovely places for coffee in the village (and their cakes/treats are pretty amazing too!) The staff here are so incredibly friendly and you will be made to feel nothing but welcome every time you pass by. Absolutely not to be missed!
Primrose Café. One of Bristol’s busiest and best loved cafés, Primrose has been about for almost 25 years and is a fantastic place for a wedge of homemade cake (they serve breakfast and lunch too). Open every day with a special brunch menu on Sunday, Primrose has a lovely outdoor seating area and a roof terrace tucked away too. Nothing but brilliant and a Clifton institution – we love it here.
The Mall Deli. As you walk into this deli you will immediately see the counters piled high with sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiches, beautiful salads, cheese, cold meats…the list just goes on and on. But venture towards the seated café area at the back of the deli and you’ll see the dessert counter. Atmosphere here is great and coffee is delicious – seats go quickly though to make sure you grab a space when once comes free!
East Village. Fairly new to the village, East Village has quickly become popular. All of their food and drinks are 100% vegetarian and you only need to take a glimpse at their Instagram page to see how delicious their food looks. One of the few places to open at 8am on a weekend (including Sundays), this one is great for the early birds amongst you…
Spicer & Cole. With three independent cafés in Bristol, Spicer and Cole is all about keeping it local with tea from a company in Cardiff and their house espresso roasted locally in St Werburghs (they have guest blends at different times too). Counter contents change regularly but whatever is on offer is always delicious.
There are of course so many more places to visit in Clifton but these are particular favourites of ours. Make sure you let us know which one you pick first and any tasty treats you pick up whilst you’re there!
