Well, it really depends on which day you pick. If it’s a Tuesday or a Thursday my day starts at around 6.45am, quick shower, throw some food out for the dog (he likes to scavenge it from around the garden), try and persuade the boys to get their own breakfast (because they are nearly 11 and quite capable), eat some myself then screech to school, evicting the boys from the vehicle (just about stopping somewhere nearby) then enjoying a blissful 20 minutes to work listening to music of my choosing. This is usually something mellow, though I do quite like Grimmy (or Grimey as I mistakenly called him the first time, much to my husband’s amusement – I’m so cool and down with the kids!).
I quite enjoy being in the office. I get to sit down all day, unless I want a brew, or need to spend a penny (in Tesco! ). Bit of office banter, tease Peter about his holiday being so over (yes I will!), work my way through the papers/emails etc, another day, another dollar as they say! Talking of dollars, I wonder if a Sarah Kenny Florida would take off? Answers on a postcard…..or I could take an all- expenses paid reconnoitre?
Any other day, I can be found mostly in Tesco, at the kitchen sink, walking the dog or watching Dallas – who did shoot JR?
