Everything is aerial this weekend – It’s the 26th Bristol International Festival of Kites & Air Creations at Ashton Court this weekend

Its an action packed event with kite guests coming from all over the world, from as far as America and Kuwait.  There are flying displays, kite fights, artistic kites and synchronised routines.

 Festival highlights will include:
Spectacular and colourful sea-themed kites including giant swirling octopi and squids, a flying scuba diver, a giant mermaid and Roly the mega killer whale
Special animal shapes including flying bears, tigers, dogs and cats designed and made in New Zealand by festival favourite Peter Lynn
Synchronised team flying routines choreographed and flown to music including The Decorators quad line display team and World Sport Kite Team Champions Scratch Bunnies

The aerial extravaganza is the UK’s leading showcase for designers, operators and manufacturers of inflatables, play structures and air sculptures.
The best bit is it is completely FREE, everyone loves free, particularly me so head on down there and gaze into the air from 11am on Saturday, running Sunday too.
