Who fancies something special to drink this week?!

As the run up Christmas begins, there are lots of fantastic events going on throughout Bristol and this week we are lucky enough to have three different evenings going on focused on all things tequila, gin and whisky…

Tequila & taco pairing at CARGO Cantina
Wednesday 28th November down at our absolute favourite, Wapping Wharf. Taste a selection of different tequilas (not for the faint hearted!) and enjoy a four course menu of special tacos and tostadas.

Some of the fanstastic sounding dishes on their menu include chicharrones, tongue n cheek “taco de cabeza”, seafood salpicon with octopus and prawns, seasonal tostadas, cauliflower and peanut Romanesco…make sure you snap up a ticket for this one!

Plymouth Gin Club at Milk Thistle
Taking place this Thursday 29th from 7pm – 9pm, tickets are £20 and include a perfect serve Plymouth G&T, two specially created cocktails, tasty nibbles and a tutored, neat tasting of different gins within the Plymouth range.

Plymouth Gin is produced at one of the oldest working distilleries in England and was one of the few products listed in the first ever Savoy cocktail book, included in the White Lady, Bronx and Dry Martini – quite the accolade for this one! On Thursday evening, the team will be coming to Bristol for the last Gin Club of the year and the wonderful Milk Thistle will be hosting.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company with Hyde & Co
Unfortunately, gin and whisky fans you will need to choose either one or the other as this event is also running on Thursday evening of this week from 7pm. Also available at £20 per ticket, That Boutique’y Whisky Company will be bringing along a mixture of different whiskies for a fun but informative tasting session.

St Nick’s Festive Night Market
Yes, so technically this one is not until the end of next week on Friday 7th December but St Nick’s is always worth a mention as it’s just so brilliant! Open especially from 5.00pm – 7.00pm for a festive treat, do not miss the night market where there is some of the best street food in Bristol on offer and mulled cider galore (not to mention light shows, carol singing, live music and much, much more…)

Get yourselves ready gang as this week looks like a fun one!
