When I moved to Bristol a few years back and started regularly walking along Queens Road to get in and out of town, White Stuff on the Clifton Triangle quickly became one of my favourite shops and to this day I struggle to walk past without stopping to have a quick peek at their latest arrivals.
White Stuff has been running since 1985 and alongside their fabulous clothing and accessories, their company ethos is “making a meaningful difference every day”. In support of this they also have a fantastic charity called The White Stuff Foundation.
Each branch of the company is paired with a local charity for which they raise money through different events throughout the year (they work with and fundraise for over 120 small local charities across the country) and 1% of the company profit is donated to charity annually too which I now love knowing when I pass by.
Our wonderful Clifton branch is partnered with Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal (Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity) and a couple of weeks back they took part in a “Live. Love. Local” event which raised over £30,000 nationally through bake sales, raffles, craft events, yoga, gin tasting, flower arranging, wine and cheese tasting and a whole host of fun activities. The next in store event looks like it is to be held in October so keep an eye out for this one if you would like to help in #DoingGoodStuff and raising money for a lovely cause. White Stuff, we think you’re brilliant!
