Its half term this week and Hallowe’en, so here’s our definitive guide

We would recommend going to the Zoo, as that seems have a plethora of activities to keep the little ones occupied! There is also £5 child entry with a full paying adult.

From 22nd October – 1st November, you can

• Take the ghoulish trail around the Zoo with a spook-tacular prize to be collected at the end
• Listen to ghost stories with our master of storytelling
• Add to your fantastic fancy dress with some freaky face painting
• Join in our daily fancy dress parade
• Get up close to some of our animal residents in creepy animal encounters

Another one of our favourites is Kid Carpet, who will be at the Bristol Old Vic Studio 22nd – 25th October. Tickets are from £7 for children. You can book tickets here

Or how about going somewhere further afield? Take a trip out to Slimbridge.
They are having a Spooktacular with highlights including

Searching for the missing pumpkins hiding Slimbridge’s grounds.
You can hand feed the friendly ducks you meet on your adventure.
Watching the otters Flo, Minnie and Haha enjoying eating special treats out of carved pumpkins. You can see them playing with the pumpkins!

You can arrive in fancy dress on the final weekend to really get in the spirit and take a scarecrow selfie with your family.
