Now, some of you may know that we have quite a few book worms here at Sarah Kenny and so we were chuffed to bits to see that there is a lovely children’s story time event running at Arnos Vale Cemetery next week for half term.
There will be two stomping story sessions held on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th February with several sessions available at various times on both days and what better way to spend the day than in the great outdoors?!
Wednesday will see the wonderful “Guess how much I love you” read in the pretty setting of Arnos Vale. The story of the nut brown hares finding different ways to explain how much they love each other is one of the most endearing children’s stories and a much loved classic which is not to be missed. Thursday’s session will then be “The Gruffalo’s Child” where children will find out which creature in the wood is the scariest for the Gruffalo’s daughter and learn which creatures live in Arnos Vale too.
Both sessions are interactive with games and activities galore available along with a craft task at the end of each session – we think they sound just brilliant! There is also a Forest Fun group running on Tuesday 13th February with bushcraft skills taught in the brilliant outdoor centre. Looking for something to do during half term? Arnos Vale is the place to be…
