There has been much talk in recent weeks over Letting Agencies not displaying their fees and ‘hiding’ them. Here are SK we are very transparent with our fee structure, for both Landlords and Tenants. We have added our fees to all of our window displays and on our own website, but just to reiterate our agency fee is 35% of one months rent + VAT and its covers the following:
· Drawing up the documentation of your lease
· Registering the deposit
· Undertaking the check in, including a full inventory & meter readings
· Registering you with all relevant utilities companies
We take a 6 weeks deposit for all properties and there is a cost of £24 per person for the credit and reference check.
