Come along to Bristol Pride gang with the city’s biggest annual celebration of equality and diversity! Things kicked off yesterday and will be running until 14th July with events galore going on across Bristol in a gloriously colourful celebration of the LGBT+ community…
Last year, Bristol Pride saw a whopping 36,000 people attend and so this time the festival has been relocated to the Downs where capacity can be doubled and lots more fab entertainment can be enjoyed. And the line up is pretty spectacular! Melanie C & Sink The Pink, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Boney M, Sonique, Saara Aalto (did somebody say disco?!), Dr Meaker, Four of Diamonds, Hazell Dean and none other than Ru Paul’s Drag Race’s Peppermint, an after-party at the O2 academy…get online to check out the full list of events and book your tickets here straight away!!
Pride Day will be taking place on Saturday 13th July and will start with the Parade march in the city centre (which saw around 12,000 people take part in last year) followed by the multi-stage festival with not only brilliant music all day but also food, markets, bars…and so much for anybody going too.
Bristol Pride is multi-award winning and one of the largest free Pride festivals in the UK – and we are very proud of it too… Make sure you have your glad rags and glitter at the ready and we hope to see some of you there!
