Any of you not been to Woky Ko? Then this weekend is an absolute MUST! Woky Ko is one of the brilliant eateries down at Wapping Wharf, and they now have a restaurant on Queens Road at the top of Park Street too.
“Home of the Wokstars” the menus are based around Asian street food and include some incredible treats including spring rolls, salt and pepper squid, noodles, curries, ramen and one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten – THE salted caramel bao bun (I would actually go to Cargo especially just for one of them and I live half an hour outside of Bristol)!
So, as if that wasn’t reason enough to head straight there, this Saturday down at Wapping Wharf they will be holding #WokyFest to celebrate the Chinese New Year too. Back in 2017 we celebrated the Year of the Rooster, 2018 was the Year of the Dog and this weekend we’ll be seeing in the Year of the Pig with street food, music, decorations, fortunes and traditional lion dances (one at 2pm and another at 7pm).
Brilliant food, entertainment and lovely people for one day only – we hope to see you all there!
